About Us

Marilyn’s company; Koa Ltd, was formed in 2007.
The name Koa is taken from the tallest of the acacia trees that provides space for growth and nurturing within its shade. The mission of Koa is to create opportunities for personal and organisational change in support of vulnerable children and young people, and those that teach and care for them.

Koa undertakes training and consultancy with individual schools, local services and Local Authorities and creates resources for individual children that can be rolled out as a whole class or whole school development so that you are confident and competent in meeting the mental health needs of all children and those with additional needs.

Mental health is the emotional and spiritual resilience which enables us to enjoy life and to survive pain, disappointment and sadness.”
